Description
The Team Associated ASC81740 center dogbone set carries the drive from the center differential out to the front and rear diffs on the RC8B4.2 buggy. These 111mm dogbones are the link that puts engine power to the ground, and worn ends or a twisted bone shows up as driveline slop, vibration and lost drive out of the corner.
Dogbone ends and the pins they ride on wear steadily through a season, and a hard landing or a rock strike can bend one without it being obvious on the bench. Because the center driveline is buried in the chassis, it is easy to leave a tired set in the car far longer than you should. Fitment covers the RC8B4.2, RC8B4.2 EURO and RC8B4.2e.
This set is a direct replacement for the stock center dogbones and installs in the original locations with no modification. Replacing them restores smooth, quiet power delivery and takes strain off the differentials and outdrives either side of them.
