Description
The Team Associated ASC81728 chassis brace set ties the chassis and bulkhead areas of the RC8T4.2 truggy together, controlling how much the chassis twists under power and on landings. Chassis flex is a real setup tool on a 1/8 scale truck, and the braces are what determine how much of it the car actually has.
Braces sit low and exposed on a truggy, so they pick up damage from rocks, ruts and hard landings over time. A bent or cracked brace lets the chassis move in ways your setup was never built around, which shows up as inconsistent handling that is hard to chase. Fitment covers the RC8T4.2e and RC8T4.2.
This set installs as a direct replacement for the stock braces using existing hardware and mounting points, so there is nothing to modify. Fit it after a heavy crash to bring the chassis back to spec, or keep a set in the pit box as insurance for race weekends where you cannot afford to lose a run.
