Description
These Team Associated ASC81722 rear suspension arms are the soft compound arms for the RC8T4.2 truggy. The rear arms carry the hubs, take driveline and landing loads, and set rear camber and toe, so the amount of flex built into the arm has a direct effect on how much rear traction the truck generates.
The soft compound flexes more than the standard arms, which many drivers prefer on high grip or rough surfaces where extra compliance helps the rear tires stay in contact with the track. Arm compound is a useful tuning change because it adjusts rear grip without touching shocks, springs, or differential fluid.
These arms fit the RC8T4.2 and the electric RC8T4.2e, installing on the stock hinge pins and mounting locations with no modification. Rear arms are among the most commonly damaged parts on a truggy given the size and speed of the vehicle, so a spare set in the pit box is worth having for any race weekend.
