Description
The Team Associated ASC81719 front shock tower is the aluminum front tower for the RC8T4.2 truggy, in the 8 degree KPI configuration. The tower mounts the upper front shock ends and sets kingpin inclination, which shapes how the front end builds steering through a corner.
The 8 degree KPI option gives a different steering character than the higher angle version, and many drivers use tower choice to tune front grip and corner entry feel to the track rather than changing shocks or springs. Because the tower is aluminum, it stands up to the hard landings and front end impacts that a truggy front end takes on rough outdoor tracks far better than a composite part.
It fits the RC8T4.2 and the electric RC8T4.2e, installing at the stock mounting locations and shock positions with no modification. Fit it as a durability upgrade over the standard tower, as a setup option, or as a replacement for a tower bent in a crash.
