The Team Associated ASC81710 brake pad set is the V2 pad set for the RC8B4.2 braking system. The brake pads are the friction surfaces that slow the car, and their condition determines how much braking power you have and how consistently that power arrives lap after lap.
Brake pads are a wear item. As they thin out and glaze over, braking becomes weaker and less predictable, which costs corner entry confidence and lap time. Fitting a fresh V2 set restores full braking performance and the crisp, repeatable feel you need to brake late into a corner with confidence.
This set fits the RC8B4.2 EURO, the electric RC8B4.2e, and the RC8T4.2 truggy, installing in the stock brake assembly with no modification required. Brake performance fades gradually enough that many drivers do not notice until it is significant, so keeping a spare set in the pit box and refreshing pads at regular intervals is one of the easier ways to keep a car consistent.
