Description
The Team Associated ASC81705 center differential gasket set contains the sealing gaskets for the high volume center differential used on the RC8B4.2 platform. The gaskets seal the diff case so the silicone fluid stays inside, which is what keeps differential action consistent lap after lap.
A leaking center diff is one of the more frustrating problems in 1/8 racing. Fluid escaping past a tired gasket changes diff behavior mid run, throws off handling, and coats the gearbox and surrounding parts in oil. Gaskets compress and take a set every time a diff is opened, so fitting fresh ones at every rebuild is standard practice for anyone chasing consistency.
This set fits the RC8B4.2 EURO, the electric RC8B4.2e, and the RC8T4.2e, installing with normal diff rebuild procedures and no modification required. Keep a set with your diff fluid and rebuild tools so you are never tempted to reuse a flattened gasket and risk a leak during a race weekend.
