Description
These Team Associated ASC81694 rear suspension arms are the medium-compound version of the rear arms for the RC8B4.2 buggy. The rear arms locate the hubs, carry driveline and landing loads, and set rear camber and toe, so the amount of flex in the arm directly influences how much traction the rear of the car generates.
The medium compound sits between the soft and firmer arm options, giving a balanced feel that suits a wide range of track conditions. Many racers use arm compound as a tuning tool, moving between compounds to adjust rear grip without changing springs, shock oil, or diff settings.
They are a direct replacement fitting the RC8B4.2, RC8B4.2 EURO, and the electric RC8B4.2e, mounting with the stock hinge pins and requiring no modification. Because rear arms take heavy abuse from rough tracks and contact with other cars, keeping a spare set in the pit box means a damaged arm never costs you a main.
