Description
These Team Associated ASC81693 rear suspension arms are the soft-compound version of the rear arms used on the RC8B4.2 buggy. The rear arms carry the hubs and driveline loads, set rear camber and toe geometry, and transfer every input from the track into the chassis, so their flex characteristics have a real effect on how the car drives.
The soft compound allows more flex than the standard arms, which many drivers prefer on high-grip, smooth, or bumpy surfaces where extra compliance helps the rear tires stay planted. Running softer arms is a common tuning change for adjusting rear traction without touching shocks or springs.
These are a direct fit on the RC8B4.2, RC8B4.2 EURO, and the electric RC8B4.2e, using the stock hinge pin and mounting locations with no modification required. Suspension arms are among the most frequently damaged parts on a 1/8 buggy, so keep a set on hand as both a tuning option and a race-weekend spare.
