The front shock tower for the RC8B4.2, cut for the 16 degree kingpin inclination front geometry.
The tower provides the upper shock mounting positions and the camber link locations, so it sets front suspension geometry while carrying the loads that come up through the shocks on landings and hard impacts. The multiple mounting holes give a range of shock angle and camber link height options, letting you change front grip and steering response as track conditions shift through the day. Matching the tower to the 16 degree KPI steering blocks and related front end components keeps the geometry package consistent, which matters for predictable corner entry.
Fitment covers the RC8B4.2, RC8B4.2 EURO and RC8B4.2e eighth scale buggies. Install it as a direct replacement for a tower that is cracked or tweaked after a crash, since even a slightly bent tower changes shock alignment and makes the car handle differently from side to side. Use fresh hardware and check shock alignment as you fit it.
