Description
The Team Associated ASC81690 front shock tower is the plate that mounts the front shocks and holds the front suspension geometry on the RC8B4.2 chassis. This version is the 8 degree KPI tower, so it sets a different kingpin inclination than the standard front tower and gives you a second geometry option to tune front end feel for the track you are running. It fits the RC8B4.2, RC8B4.2 EURO, and RC8B4.2e 1/8 scale buggies.
Use it as a direct replacement for a stock tower that has been bent, cracked, or tweaked in a hard landing or a rollover, or fit it as a setup change when you want to move away from the geometry your kit tower provides. The front shock tower absorbs a large share of every front end impact, which makes it one of the parts worth keeping a spare of in the pit box on race day.
This is a genuine Team Associated part from Associated Electrics, not an aftermarket copy, so mounting holes and hardware line up with the factory shocks and chassis without modification.
