The V2 forward configuration chassis for the RC8B4.2.
The chassis is the foundation the whole car is built on, holding the front and rear gearboxes, the engine or motor mount, the radio tray and the fuel tank or battery, and its stiffness has a direct effect on how the car generates grip. This forward version positions the drivetrain and mass further forward, a layout racers use to increase steering response and front bite on tracks where the car pushes through the middle of the corner.
As the V2 part it reflects the current production specification, so it replaces an older or damaged plate directly using the existing hardware and mounting positions. Fitment covers the RC8B4.2, the RC8B4.2 EURO and the RC8B4.2e electric version. A bent or cracked chassis is one of the most common causes of an unexplained handling imbalance, so fitting a fresh plate during a full rebuild returns the car to a known, straight baseline before you start tuning again.
