V2 steering blocks machined for the 16 degree kingpin inclination front end.
The steering blocks carry the front wheel bearings and axles and connect the suspension arms to the steering linkage, so they set how camber behaves through the steering sweep and take the direct load of every front impact. Kingpin inclination changes how camber gains as the wheels turn, which is what gives a car its particular corner entry feel and mid corner front grip, so running 16 degree blocks is a deliberate geometry choice as much as a replacement decision.
These fit the RC8B4.2 and RC8B4.2e eighth scale buggies as well as the RC8T4.2 and RC8T4.2e truggies, mounting with the standard kingpin screws, bearings and axles from those platforms. Steering blocks are among the most commonly damaged front end parts, so keeping a spare set in the pit box can save a race weekend. Install them as a pair with fresh bearings for the smoothest steering feel and most consistent response.
