Description
The V2 aluminum front shock tower for the RC8T4, machined to work with the 16 degree kingpin inclination front geometry.
This tower anchors the upper ends of the front shocks and provides the camber link mounting positions, so it defines much of how the front suspension behaves while absorbing the loads that come through the shocks on big landings. Building it from aluminum rather than composite adds rigidity and keeps the mounting holes true after repeated hard impacts, so shock and link geometry stays where you set it instead of flexing under load.
The multiple hole positions leave room to change shock angle and camber link height while dialing the truck in for a particular surface. Fitment covers the RC8T4 nitro truggy and the RC8T4e electric version. Install it as a straight replacement for a damaged or tweaked tower, or as a durability upgrade over the standard part for drivers racing on rough, jump heavy tracks where front end hits are constant.
