Description
These offset pivot balls connect the rear sway bar to the rear suspension arms on the RC8B4.1, RC8B4.1e and RC8T4.2e.
The sway bar link rides on the ball, so the ball's position determines where the bar picks up arm movement and how much anti-roll resistance the chassis actually sees. Because this version is offset rather than centered, it shifts that pickup point and changes the effective leverage of the bar, giving you a tuning step for rear roll stiffness without swapping to a different wire diameter. That makes it useful for dialing in side bite and corner entry balance on high-grip or bumpy tracks.
The parts also see plenty of dirt and repeated impacts, so they are a common replacement item once the ball surfaces wear and the links begin to bind or develop play. They install in the standard sway bar mounting locations using the existing hardware, functioning as both a direct replacement and a setup option. Check the vehicle manual for correct orientation.
