Description
The upper link mount anchors the front upper camber link and sets kingpin inclination on the RC8B4.1 and RC8B4.1e.
This angled version is specified at 8 degrees KPI, so installing it changes the steering geometry compared with the standard mount and alters how the front end loads, steers into a corner, and returns to center. It is machined from aluminum, giving it a rigid, dimensionally stable mounting surface that resists flex and deformation from front-end impacts far better than a molded part.
Mounted on the front bulkhead area of the chassis, it bolts in using the existing hardware locations, so it works both as a replacement for a damaged mount and as a geometry tuning option for racers experimenting with front-end setup at different tracks and grip levels. Team Associated does not publish additional item information for this part, so refer to the RC8B4.1 manual and setup sheets for correct placement, shim stacks, and recommended settings before making changes.
