Description
The RC8B4.1 front bumper is the first line of defense for the front of your 1/8 scale racer.
Mounted ahead of the front bulkhead, it absorbs and spreads the energy of head on impacts with pipes, other cars, and track obstacles, protecting the bulkhead, shock tower, steering components, and suspension arms behind it. Because it is designed to take that abuse, the bumper collects damage over time and eventually deforms or tears, at which point it stops doing its job and starts passing impact energy into far more expensive parts. Replacing it is one of the cheapest pieces of insurance in the pit box.
This bumper fits the RC8B4.1, RC8B4.1e, and RC8T4.2e, mounting in the factory position with the existing hardware and requiring no modification to install. It is a direct replacement for the bumper supplied with the kit. Inspect it after every heavy crash and swap it as soon as it shows cracks, tears, or a permanent bend.
