Description
This is the aluminum front shock tower for the RC8B4.1, machined with 8 degree geometry and a 26.5mm configuration.
The shock tower is the upper mounting point for the front dampers and sets the shock angle and mounting height, so it directly influences how the front end absorbs bumps and how the buggy rolls through corners. Aluminum construction gives the tower far more resistance to bending and cracking than a molded tower, which matters on hard landings and in crashes where the front of the car takes the hit. It also holds shock mounting positions more precisely over a long race weekend.
The tower fits the RC8B4.1 and the RC8B4.1e, bolting to the front bulkhead in the stock location and accepting the standard shock hardware. Fit it as a replacement for a damaged or fatigued tower, or as an upgrade over the kit part for racers who want a stiffer, more consistent front suspension mount. Pair it with the matching rear tower for a balanced setup.
