Description
This is the replacement main chassis for the Team Associated RC8B4.1 1/8 scale buggy.
The chassis is the foundation of the car: every bulkhead, shock tower, servo mount, and drivetrain component bolts to it, and its stiffness and shape determine how the whole car flexes and how consistently your setup carries over from one weekend to the next. A chassis that has been tweaked in a crash or worn thin from track abrasion will let the car handle differently left to right, and no amount of setup work will fully correct that.
Replacing it returns the buggy to factory geometry and gives you a clean, flat mounting surface for every component. Because a chassis swap means a full teardown, most racers plan it as part of an off season rebuild or after a significant impact, and use the opportunity to service the differentials and bearings at the same time. This part fits the RC8B4.1 specifically and accepts all the stock mounting hardware and components with no modification required.
