Description
This battery tray set holds the battery pack in place on the chassis of the Team Associated RC8T4e 1/8 scale electric truggy.
The trays locate the pack front to back and side to side so it cannot shift under hard braking or in a rollover, which keeps the weight balance of the truck predictable lap after lap. A securely mounted pack also protects the battery leads and connectors from being tugged loose, one of the more frustrating ways to lose a run.
On an electric truggy the pack is a significant share of total weight, so the trays are working every time the chassis loads up through a corner or lands off a jump, and the mounting points eventually wear or crack. This is a direct factory replacement set that installs on the RC8T4e chassis using the existing hardware and strap locations with no modification. If your battery has started moving around in the chassis or a tray has cracked at a mounting point, replacing the set restores solid, repeatable pack mounting.
