Description
This rubber fuel tank lid puller is the replacement pull tab that opens the fuel tank lid on the Team Associated RC8B4 buggy and RC8T4 truggy, both 1/8 scale nitro platforms.
During a pit stop you need to flip the tank lid open with one hand while the fuel bottle is already in the other, and the flexible rubber tab gives you something to grab quickly and reliably instead of fumbling for the edge of the lid. Because it sits exposed on top of the tank and gets handled at every single refuel, it takes constant flexing along with contact from fuel and cleaner, so it eventually tears or stretches out.
This is a low cost direct replacement that installs on the stock tank lid with no modification, restoring quick and clean fuel stops. It is an easy part to keep in the pit box alongside your other tank spares, since losing the puller mid race turns a two second splash and go into a fumbling delay.
