Description
These 131mm CVA bones are replacement driveshaft bones for the Team Associated RC8T4 and RC8T4e 1/8 scale truggies. In a CVA style axle the bone is the shaft that carries power from the differential outdrive to the wheel hub while allowing the suspension to move through full travel and the wheels to steer.
It is one of the hardest working parts on the truck, taking the full torque of the drivetrain and absorbing shock loads every time a tire drops into a rut or lands off a jump. Worn bones develop play at the pin and crosspin faces, which shows up as driveline vibration and clicking under acceleration. Replacing them restores smooth, quiet power delivery and reduces the load passed on to your differential outdrives.
These are direct factory replacements sized at 131mm for the RC8T4 platform, so they drop straight into the existing axle assembly with your current pins and hardware. Many racers change bones as routine drivetrain maintenance rather than waiting for one to fail during a heat.
