Description
The front shock tower is the mounting plate that holds the upper ends of the front shocks on the RC8T4 and RC8T4e, and it is a key setup component as well as a structural one.
Its mounting holes set shock angle and leverage, which directly affects how the front end reacts over bumps and how much roll the car carries into corners. Towers take heavy loads in a nose first landing or a hard hit into a pipe, and a cracked or slightly bent tower changes those angles without being obvious on the bench, so it belongs on any list of parts to inspect after a big crash.
This is a direct factory replacement using the stock bulkhead mounting positions and hole locations, so the shocks and hardware you already have transfer straight across with no modification. Fitting a fresh tower restores the car's intended front suspension geometry and gives you a known reference point when you go back to your baseline setup sheet.
