Description
These front upper suspension arms are produced in Team Associated's Medium composite material, created for 1:8 off road racing as a tuning option alongside the Hard material supplied in the RC8B4 kit.
The Medium compound carries less fiber content than the kit parts, which increases impact strength while retaining the responsive racing feel of the standard arms. The added flex makes the car more forgiving when grip is low, improves durability in cooler track conditions where stiffer composites are less tolerant of impacts, and takes roughly 1.5 grams off the weight of each arm. Medium parts are marked with an identifying dot so they are simple to tell apart from other compounds on the bench.
They fit the RC8B4, RC8B4e, RC8B4.1, and RC8B4.1e, and install in the stock front upper locations using the existing hinge pins and camber hardware. Use them to replace arms damaged in a crash, or as a deliberate front end flex adjustment when track conditions call for it.
