Description
This front top plate braces the upper front end of the Team Associated RC8B4e and related electric platform vehicles. It caps the front bulkhead and suspension mount assembly, tying those parts together so the front hinge pin mounts stay square and the caster and kick up built into the car hold their positions under suspension load.
That stiffness is what keeps steering response consistent instead of drifting as the front end flexes through a run. Sitting high and forward, the plate takes direct hits in nose first landings and multi car pile ups, and a plate that has been bent or cracked lets the bulkhead spread slightly, subtly changing front geometry in ways that are easy to miss during a quick pit check.
Replacing it restores correct front end rigidity in a few minutes at the bench. It fits the RC8B4e, RC8T4e, and RC8B4.1e, covering buggy and truggy builds on the electric platform. This is a direct factory replacement that bolts into the existing mounting holes with your current hardware and needs no modification.
