Description
This chassis is the main structural plate for the Team Associated RC8B4e, the electric version of the RC8B4 1/8 scale buggy. Everything on the car mounts to it: the front and rear bulkheads, the motor mount and speed control tray, the battery mounting area, the steering assembly, and all of the suspension mounts.
Its flatness and stiffness set the reference for the entire car, so a chassis that has taken a bend or developed a stress crack quietly changes ride height, camber, and toe and makes the car feel inconsistent even after you recheck your setup. Landings, curb strikes, and rollovers all put load directly into the plate, which makes it a wear item on a heavily raced car.
Installing a fresh chassis restores true geometry across the whole platform in one step. This is a direct factory replacement for the RC8B4e, with all mounting holes, countersinks, and hardware locations matching your existing components, so no drilling or modification is needed. It is a smart spare to keep on hand for race weekends.
