Description
These front upper suspension arms complete the front suspension geometry on the Team Associated RC8B4 1/8 scale buggy. The upper arm pivots on the front upper hinge pin and connects the top of the steering block to the chassis, controlling camber gain through travel and working with the lower arm to set front roll center and steering feel.
Because the upper arm is a smaller, lighter component that sits right in the impact zone, it is a common casualty in head on hits and hard landings, and a cracked arm or a worn hinge pin bore introduces camber slop that makes the front end feel inconsistent even when nothing looks broken. Installing fresh upper arms restores precise, repeatable front geometry.
They fit the RC8B4, RC8B4e, RC8B4.1, and RC8B4.1e, covering nitro and electric builds on the platform. These are direct factory replacements that reuse your existing hinge pins, inserts, and ball studs, so the swap is a quick bench job. Note that Team Associated lists part number 81637 as the current version of this component.
