Description
This shock pin set supplies the small pins that locate the shocks in the Team Associated RC8B4 platform. These pins pass through the shock ends and hold the shock bodies and shafts to the tower and to the suspension arm mounts, so they carry the full load path between the damper and the chassis every time the suspension cycles.
Pins wear on their bearing surfaces over time, and a worn, scored, or slightly bent pin introduces play at the shock mount that shows up as vague damping and inconsistent handling. Replacing them is a cheap way to bring a tired car back to a solid, precise feel.
This set fits the RC8B4, RC8B4e, RC8B4.1, RC8B4.1e, and RC8T4.2e, so it covers both buggy and truggy builds across the platform. These are direct factory replacements that drop into the existing shock hardware with no modification. Because these pins are easy to lose during a shock rebuild and easy to damage in a crash, a spare set belongs in every pit box.
