Description
The ASC81500 chassis is the main structural plate for the Team Associated RC8B4 1/8 scale racing buggy, and it serves as the foundation that every other component on the car mounts to. It carries the front and rear bulkheads, the engine and radio tray hardware, the steering assembly, and the suspension mounts, so its flatness and rigidity directly affect how consistently the car handles from corner to corner.
A chassis takes the worst of any hard landing, rock strike, or rollover, and once it develops a bend or a stress crack the geometry it sets for the rest of the car is no longer true. Replacing it restores correct ride height, camber, and toe references across the whole platform.
This is a direct factory replacement for the RC8B4, so all existing mounting holes, countersinks, and hardware locations line up with your current parts and no modification is required during the rebuild. Keep one on the bench as a spare so a damaged chassis does not end your race weekend early.
