Description
This set replaces the shock collars and seal retainers on 16mm big bore shocks, with enough hardware in the package for two shocks. The threaded collars set spring preload and ride height, while the seal retainers hold the shock seals and cartridge in the shock body. Both pieces are anodized aluminum, and both are direct swaps for the parts supplied in the kit, so this is a straightforward way to freshen up shocks whose threads have picked up grit or whose retainers have been chewed by repeated rebuilds.
Fitment covers the RC8B3, RC8B3e, RC8B3.1, RC8B3.1e, RC8B3.2, RC8B3.2e, RC8T3.2, RC8T3.2e, RC8B4, RC8B4e, RC8T4, RC8T4e, RC8B4.1, and RC8B4.1e, so it works on nitro and electric buggies and truggies.
Genuine Team Associated components with factory thread pitch and diameters, meaning collars turn smoothly and retainers seat without binding. Order two sets to cover all four shocks during a full rebuild, and keep the old collars as spares in case a thread picks up damage at the track.
