Description
These side guards protect the chassis and inner running gear on Team Associated 1/8 scale buggies and truggies. Mounted along the chassis sides, they shield the internals from dirt, roost, rocks and debris thrown up by the tires, and they take the impact when the vehicle slides into pipes, boards or other cars.
Keeping debris out of the chassis area helps protect the radio gear, linkages and drivetrain, and it makes post-race cleanup far quicker. Side guards are a consumable body part by nature, and cracked, torn or badly scuffed guards no longer seal properly against the chassis, so replacing them restores full protection.
Fitment covers the RC8B3.2, RC8B3.2e, RC8T3.2, RC8T3.2e, RC8B4, RC8T4, RC8T4e, RC8B4.2e and RC8T4.2e. These are direct replacements for the stock guards, mounting with your existing hardware in the factory locations with no trimming or modification needed. Fitting fresh guards before a big race weekend is cheap protection for far more expensive components underneath the chassis.
