Description
These 0.95 mm clutch springs let you tune the engagement point of the Team Associated four-shoe adjustable clutch on 1/8 scale nitro vehicles. The wire diameter determines how much RPM the engine must build before the shoes swing outward and grab the clutch bell, which directly shapes how the power hits the drivetrain.
At 0.95 mm this is a medium rate that holds engagement slightly longer than the lighter springs, letting the engine come up on the pipe before the power arrives for stronger drive out of corners on medium to high-grip tracks. Fitment covers the RC8B3.1, RC8T3.1, RC8B3.2, RC8T3.2, RC8B4, RC8T4, RC8B4.1, RC8B4.2 and RC8B4.2 EURO.
Because clutch springs lose tension as they heat cycle through race weekends, replacing tired springs restores crisp, repeatable engagement and keeps the clutch behaving the same on run twenty as it did on run one. They drop straight into the stock four-shoe clutch with no modification. Stock a range of diameters so you can adapt to changing track conditions quickly.
