Description
These 0.90 mm clutch springs are tuning parts for the Team Associated four-shoe adjustable clutch used across the 1/8 scale nitro buggy and truggy range. The spring wire diameter controls the RPM at which the clutch shoes fly out and engage the clutch bell, so changing springs is the fastest way to adjust how aggressively the vehicle puts power to the ground.
At 0.90 mm this is a mild-to-medium rate, engaging a little later than 0.85 mm for slightly more bottom-end punch while staying manageable on medium-grip surfaces. They fit the RC8B3.1, RC8T3.1, RC8B3.2, RC8T3.2, RC8B4, RC8T4, RC8B4.1, RC8B4.2 and RC8B4.2 EURO.
Clutch springs are a wear item because repeated heat cycles gradually reduce tension and make engagement inconsistent, so keeping fresh sets on hand protects lap time consistency. Installation is a direct swap into the stock four-shoe clutch with no modification, using your existing shoes, flywheel and hardware. Carrying several diameters lets you match engagement to track conditions from morning practice to the main event.
