Description
These replacement battery foams cushion and locate the LiPo pack in the chassis battery compartment of Team Associated electric 1:8 buggies and truggies. They take up slack around the pack so it cannot shift under hard cornering, braking and landings, protect the cells and shrink wrap from vibration and chassis flex, and let you shim different pack sizes securely into the same tray.
Fitment covers RC8B3e, RC8T3e, RC8B3.1e, RC8T3.1e, RC8B3.2e, RC8T3.2e, RC8B4e, RC8T4e and RC8B4.1e.
Foam compresses, tears and takes on oil and dirt over a season, so keeping a fresh set on the bench is cheap insurance for an expensive battery. These are direct replacements for the foams supplied with the kit, cut to the correct shape and thickness so no trimming or guesswork is needed. Replacing worn or oil-soaked foams takes only a couple of minutes with the battery tray open, and it removes one of the most common causes of pack movement and inconsistent weight balance from run to run.
