Description
These M4x8mm flat head cap screws are replacement hardware for Team Associated vehicles, listed as fitment for the SR7 platform. The flat head profile allows the screw to sit flush in a countersunk hole, which is why this style is used where a raised head would interfere with a chassis plate, a suspension component, or a mounting surface that has to sit flat against another part.
Hardware is easy to overlook until a screw is stripped, rounded out, or lost during a trackside repair. Threads wear over time from repeated assembly and disassembly, and a screw that no longer holds torque properly can allow a component to work loose during a run, which risks damage to more expensive parts around it.
