Description
These are M4 x 20mm flat head cap screws (FHCS), countersunk hardware used across Team Associated's 1/8-scale off-road lineup for flush-mounted structural connections such as bulkhead-to-chassis joints, shock tower braces, and mounting plates that need extra thread engagement length. The countersunk profile sits flush with the surrounding surface to avoid interference with moving parts, while the longer 20mm length provides added clamping strength for higher-stress mounting points. These screws are made from hardened steel for reliable thread strength and resistance to stripping or shearing under the vibration and impact loads of off-road racing. They fit the RC8B3 and RC8B4 buggy families through the current RC8B4.2, the RC8T3 and RC8T4 truggy families through the RC8T4.2, and the SR7 platform. As a direct replacement for stripped, corroded, or missing factory screws, this hardware restores secure, properly torqued assembly at key structural joints, and keeping spares on hand is practical since small fasteners are easy to lose during builds and maintenance. Installation uses a standard hex driver into the existing threaded mounting points.
