Description
These are M4 x 14mm button head cap screws (BHCS), general-purpose hardware used throughout Team Associated's 1/8-scale off-road lineup to secure shock towers, bulkheads, arm mounts, and other structural components. Button head screws provide a low-profile, rounded head with a hex drive that resists stripping under repeated maintenance while keeping a clean fit in recessed mounting holes. These screws are made from hardened steel for consistent thread engagement and resistance to stripping or shearing under the vibration and impact loads typical of off-road racing. They fit the RC8B3 and RC8B4 buggy families through the current RC8B4.2, the RC8T3 and RC8T4 truggy families through the RC8T4.2, and the Rival MT10 and Rival MT8 monster trucks. As a direct replacement for stripped, corroded, or lost factory screws, this hardware keeps chassis assemblies torqued down securely, and having spares on hand is practical since small hardware is easy to lose during builds and pit maintenance. They install with a standard hex driver into the existing threaded or captured mounting points.
