Description
Built for 1:8 truggy racers, these V2 rear springs are rated at 5.1 lb/in with an 86 mm free length, 9.0 coils and 1.6 mm wire diameter. The stiff rate is aimed at the extra weight and speed of a truggy on high-bite or big-jump tracks, resisting rear squat under power, keeping the chassis level on takeoff and helping the truck stay composed through rough, rutted sections.
They mount to the rear Big Bore shocks on the RC8T4 and RC8T4e.
Fit them as a direct replacement for tired or damaged rear springs, or add them to a graduated spring range so you can move a step firmer when the surface comes in and back down as it dries out. Changing springs is one of the fastest setup adjustments available, and having the right rate on hand keeps you competitive between rounds. Because springs fatigue over time from heat and repeated hard landings, refreshing them restores the balance your setup sheet was built around.
