Description
These V2 rear springs are rated at 4.9 lb/in with an 86 mm free length, 9.5 coils and 1.6 mm wire diameter, giving 1:8 Team Associated racers a firmer rear setup for high-grip, rutted or heavily jumped layouts. The stiffer rate limits rear squat under power, keeps the chassis flatter on takeoff and helps the car carry speed through choppy sections instead of packing into the bumps.
They fit the rear Big Bore shocks on RC8B4, RC8B4e, RC8T4, RC8T4e, RC8B4.1 and RC8B4.1e.
Install them as a direct replacement for worn or bent rear springs, or add them to a graduated spring collection so you can step up or down in rate between rounds without touching oil weight or piston selection. A quick, repeatable way to adjust rear traction and stability at the track.
