Description
These V2 rear springs are rated at 4.4 lb/in with an 86 mm free length, 10.25 coils and 1.6 mm wire diameter, giving 1:8 Team Associated racers a small but meaningful step in rear stiffness. Built for Big Bore 1:8 rear shocks, they control rear squat under power and help the chassis stay flat over jump faces and bumps without giving up forward traction.
Running them on RC8B3 and RC8B3e shocks requires #81221 spring collars and #81194 spring cups, which are included with RC8B3.1 and RC8B3.1e kits. Fitment covers RC8B3.1, RC8B3.1e, RC8T3.1, RC8T3.1e, RC8B3.2, RC8B3.2e, RC8T3.2, RC8T3.2e, RC8B4, RC8B4e, RC8T4, RC8T4e, RC8B4.1 and RC8B4.1e.
Use them as a direct replacement for fatigued rear springs, or keep them in the pit box beside adjacent rates so you can make quick, controlled setup changes between practice, qualifying and the main. Rear rate has a direct effect on corner exit traction and jump attitude.
