Description
A precise rear tuning step for 1:8 Team Associated buggies and truggies, these V2 rear springs are rated at 4.3 lb/in with an 86 mm free length, 10.5 coils and 1.6 mm wire diameter. They are designed for Big Bore 1:8 rear shocks and let you fine-tune rear squat, forward bite and how the chassis settles through ruts and over jump faces.
Installing them on RC8B3 and RC8B3e shocks calls for #81221 spring collars and #81194 spring cups; both are supplied with RC8B3.1 and RC8B3.1e kits. Fitment includes RC8B3.1, RC8B3.1e, RC8T3.1, RC8T3.1e, RC8B3.2, RC8B3.2e, RC8T3.2, RC8T3.2e, RC8B4, RC8B4e, RC8T4, RC8T4e, RC8B4.1 and RC8B4.1e.
Fit them as a direct replacement for worn or bent rear springs, or stock them alongside neighboring rates so you can move a step firmer or softer as the track changes through the day. Springs lose rate over time from heat cycles and repeated hard landings.
