Tune front-end grip on your 1:8 Team Associated racer with these V2 front springs, rated at 5.7 lb/in with a 70 mm free length, 8.5 coils and 1.6 mm wire diameter. The firmer rate limits front-end dive under braking and steadies steering response, making it a useful step up when the surface gets rough or high bite.
They are engineered for Big Bore 1:8 front shocks and require #81221 spring collars and #81194 spring cups on RC8B3 and RC8B3e shocks; those parts come included with RC8B3.1 and RC8B3.1e kits. Fitment spans RC8B3.1, RC8B3.1e, RC8T3.1, RC8T3.1e, RC8B3.2, RC8B3.2e, RC8T3.2, RC8T3.2e, RC8B4, RC8B4e, RC8T4, RC8T4e, RC8B4.1, RC8B4.1e, RC8T4.2 and RC8T4.2e.
Install them as a straight replacement for worn springs, or keep a pair on hand to widen your setup options at the track and adapt quickly between practice and the main. Because springs fatigue with heat cycles and hard use, replacing them periodically restores the handling balance you originally set.
