Description
These 16mm bleeder shock cap seals work with bleeder-style shock caps to let you run an emulsion shock setup on Team Associated's 1/8 scale race vehicles. An emulsion build runs without a bladder, mixing air and oil inside the body, which gives a distinctly different pack and rebound character.
Associated notes this combination suits tracks with big jumps and flat landings, as well as looser, lower-grip surfaces. The seal is what makes the setup work, closing off the bleeder cap so the shock holds its oil while you set volume through the bleed screw rather than a bladder.
Fits the RC8B3, RC8B3e, RC8T3, RC8T3e, RC8B3.1, RC8B3.1e, RC8T3.1, RC8T3.1e, RC8B3.2, RC8B3.2e, RC8B4, RC8B4e, RC8T4, RC8T4e, RC8B4.1, RC8B4.1e, RC8B4.2, RC8B4.2e, RC8T4.2, and RC8T4.2e. Use them with bleeder caps on your existing 16mm shock bodies. Seals are a wear item, so replace them at rebuild time to keep every corner sealing the same way.
