Description
These shock cap inserts sit under the shock cap on Team Associated's big-bore 1/8 scale shocks, backing up the bladder and keeping oil sealed at the top of the shock body. The insert holds the bladder in position while the cap is torqued down, so it directly affects how much air volume the shock has and how consistently it rebounds.
Inserts are a wear item: heat, oil, and repeated rebuilds deform them over time, and a tired insert shows up as a shock that bleeds oil past the cap, feels inconsistent, or refuses to build the same pressure as the shock on the opposite corner.
Fits the RC8B3, RC8B3e, RC8T3, RC8T3e, RC8B3.1, RC8B3.1e, RC8T3.1, RC8T3.1e, RC8B3.2, RC8B3.2e, RC8T3.2, RC8T3.2e, RC8B4, RC8B4e, RC8T4, RC8T4e, RC8B4.1, and RC8B4.1e.
