Description
These 3.5 x 33.5mm TiN shock shafts are replacement shafts for the big-bore shocks fitted to Team Associated's 1/8 scale buggies and truggies. The shaft connects the piston inside the shock body to the lower rod end, so its finish is what the shaft seals ride against on every stroke.
Titanium nitride coating gives the shaft a hard, slick surface that resists the pitting and scratching caused by grit, and a smooth shaft means less stiction, better small-bump compliance, and seals that last longer before they start weeping oil. Any bent or scored shaft should be replaced immediately, since it will tear seals and dump oil mid-run.
Fits the RC8T3, RC8T3e, RC8B3.1, RC8B3.1e, RC8T3.1, RC8T3.1e, RC8T3.2, RC8T3.2e, RC8B4, RC8B4e, RC8T4, RC8T4e, RC8B4.1, RC8B4.1e, RC8B4.2, RC8B4.2e, and RC8B4.2 EURO. They install as a direct replacement using your existing pistons, shaft nuts, and rod ends, and the coated finish is an upgrade over an uncoated shaft.
