Description
These 39.5mm shock bodies are replacement housings for the big-bore shock system used across Team Associated's 1/8 scale race platforms. Each body forms the sealed chamber that holds shock oil, guides the piston through its stroke, and threads to accept the shock cap and spring collar.
After a season of racing, bodies pick up scratches and score marks from dirt and debris, and a worn bore lets oil slip past the piston seal, which shifts damping and makes it hard to repeat a setup from one race to the next. Fresh bodies restore consistent rebound and a leak-free seal.
This set fits the RC8B3, RC8B3e, RC8T3, RC8T3e, RC8B3.1, RC8B3.1e, RC8T3.1, RC8T3.1e, RC8B3.2, RC8B3.2e, RC8T3.2, RC8T3.2e, RC8B4, RC8B4e, RC8T4, and RC8T4e. They are a direct replacement for the factory bodies on those vehicles, so no modification, shims, or alternate hardware are required during a normal shock rebuild. Keep a spare set in the pit box so a damaged body never ends your race day.
