Description
Air filter elements are the first line of defense for a nitro engine, trapping the dust and grit that would otherwise pass through the carburetor and destroy the piston, sleeve and bearings from the inside. On a 1/8 scale off-road car running dirt and clay tracks, filter foam loads up fast, and a dirty element chokes airflow and hurts tuning consistency long before it fails outright.
This package includes six elements, giving you a full season of fresh foam so you can rotate in a clean, freshly oiled element between runs instead of racing on a saturated one. Fits Team Associated RC8B3, RC8T3, RC8B3.1, RC8T3.1, RC8B3.2, RC8T3.2, RC8B4, RC8B4.1 and RC8B4.1 Davide Ongaro.
These are direct replacements for the standard elements and fit the factory filter housing without modification. Oil each element thoroughly before use, keep spares sealed in the pit box, and swap them often. It is the cheapest engine insurance available for any nitro racer.
