Description
Engine mounts locate the nitro engine on the chassis of your Associated 1/8 scale buggy or truggy, holding it square to the clutch bell and spur gear so gear mesh stays consistent lap after lap. They also carry engine vibration and the shock loads of hard landings, which means a cracked or distorted mount quickly turns into poor mesh, accelerated gear wear and lost power to the ground. A fresh set restores solid, repeatable engine positioning and lets you set mesh with confidence.
Fits Team Associated RC8B3, RC8T3, RC8B3.1, RC8T3.1, RC8B3.2, RC8B4, RC8T4, RC8B4.1, RC8B4.2, RC8B4.2 EURO and RC8T4.2.
These are direct replacement mounts that install with standard hex tools during a normal engine service, requiring no chassis modification. If you are installing a new engine, rebuilding after a crash, or chasing inconsistent gear mesh on a car with many gallons through it, replacing the mounts is one of the simplest ways to get the drivetrain back to spec.
