Engine mount washers sit under the engine mount hardware on nitro-powered Associated 1/8 scale cars, spreading clamping load across the mounts and chassis so the engine stays locked in position under vibration and hard acceleration. Correct washers matter more than they look: they keep the mounting screws from digging into the mounts, help maintain consistent clamping pressure, and make it easier to reset engine position accurately after adjusting gear mesh.
