Description
Optional-width wheel hexes are one of the fastest tuning changes available on an Associated 1/8 scale buggy or truggy. Adding width at the hub effectively widens the track of that end of the car, which alters steering feel and roll stiffness: more width at the front typically changes how the car turns in, while width at the rear affects rear stability and rotation.
Associated notes these hexes let you add or reduce effective steering and gain or reduce roll stiffness, making them a useful setup tool for adapting to different track surfaces and grip levels. The +2 mm size mounts in place of the standard hexes with no other changes required.
Fits Team Associated RC8B3, RC8B3e, RC8B3.1, RC8B3.1e, RC8B3.2, RC8B3.2e, RC8B4, RC8B4e, RC8T4, RC8T4e, RC8B4.1 and RC8B4.1e. These are an optional tuning upgrade rather than a stock replacement, so keep a set in the pit box and try them when the car needs more front bite or a calmer rear end.
