Hub hinge pins are the pivot shafts that locate the rear hubs to the suspension arms on Associated 1/8 scale off-road platforms, carrying every load the rear end sees under acceleration, braking and hard landings. Because they take constant rotational wear and pick up dirt, hinge pins eventually score, bend or seize in their bushings, which shows up as binding suspension and inconsistent rear grip. Fresh pins bring the rear suspension back to free, repeatable travel.
